Fun Valentines Day Breakfast – Homemade Heart Shaped Jelly Doughnuts

 I love finding new ways to make Valentines Day special for my kids.  Each meal on February 14th leaves me with an opportunity to make them something special that feeds their souls and shows them my love too.  On special occasions I usually don’t mind feeding their sweet tooth as well.  Here is a simple way to start your kid’s valentines day off on a sweet note!  Little bite sized and jelly filled sugar doughnuts are a special treat for the kids and simple to make using canned biscuits cut into heart shapes.  All you will need is strawberry jam, a roll of refrigerated biscuits, white sugar, and oil to make these for an extra special breakfast this Valentines Day.

Lemon Gumdrop Cookie Recipe

These simple lemon gumdrop cookies are easy to make and are a staple in our house, especially during the holidays.  They are not a particularly festive holiday cookie, but my family loves them so we make them as a special treat throughout the year and during the holidays too.  Everyone loves their light lemony flavor and they are perfect to make and share.  A boxed lemon cake mix and a few other simple ingredients are all you need to make a batch that the whole family will love.  Even though my mouth won’t be meeting any of these cookies in the next few weeks, I hope yours do, because you will love them.

Candy Cane Cookies

Here is one last Holiday treat idea for you all.  We will be making our Christmas cookies this weekend and here is a never favorite on our families list of cookies to bake for Christmas time.  Mint creme and special red holiday oroes turn from good to amazing after they are dipped in white chocolate and sprinkled with candy cane pieces.  These are easy to make and taste great too!  They are super fun and festive to make during the holidays and will be a hit at any holiday gathering.  We have made three batches of these so far this year and let’s just say they are a new favorite.

A Pretty Way To Give Homemade Canned Goods As A Gift
