These Pumpkin muffins are a staple in our house. As soon as the weather turns cool ,there is always a fresh plate of these on the counter. They are a serious crowd pleaser, even with the kiddos.
Making a normal grilled cheese and tomato soup lunch can become a howling good time by using some Halloween cookie cutters.
We love holidays in our house. Any excuse to do things out of the ordinary at home with the kids is right up my alley. We created these fun pancakes to help celebrate Halloween by simply adding some fun and spooky sprinkles to our normal pancake breakfast.
Once a week the kids and I make some sort of treat in the kitchen. These pumpkin and ghost rice krispie treats on a stick are a fun and tasty project for the kids around Halloween time! The sticks make these extra easy for the kids to hold, and I promise they won’t last long.
Every Friday is Pizza Night in our house. We almost always make our own pizza at home. Either I make dough, or sometimes buy it, and the kids help me make it. Sometimes it’s calzones, sometimes pizza muffins, but it’s always yummy, and a fun family event!
I have an over abundance of cucumbers from my garden this year. The thought of wasting them makes me crazy! As an alternative to cucumber salad I tried this amazing roasted red pepper and green onion filled dip! PERFECT for fresh sliced cucs from the garden!
There are many days that I make a lunch for the kids and cringe as I reluctantly throw most of it into the garbage. They are just not interested. Ugh! What a waste. How could I get them to eat their sandwiches and prevent the wasteful cycle? Bust out the play-dough tools!! Yup you heard me right!
