This week’s What I Wore post is going to be a little different… more of a What HE Wore type of a thing! And by he, I mean, my 6 year old son. Getting the kids ready for back to school time is a big deal at our house, especially because for the first year ever, I now have to school aged children. Well one preschool aged child, but she will be of to school each and every day this year! I wanted to share a little bit about a recent back to school shopping trip at Old Navy with you that was tons of fun for me and the kids. What I wore Wednesday this week is all about my little Man’s back to school makeover at Old Navy where kids multiply there style and get everything they need at a great price!
My first baby was off to Kindergarten today. It has been a most exciting day for him, and a most difficult day for me, but no the less I always aim to make big days a little extra special! The day started with the first day off school photo and I can’t wait for him to get off the bus to find a special little surprise.
A lot of kids are back to school this week or will be getting on that bus in the next couple of weeks. This year we are celebrating one of our last full days together before school starts with a fun twist to the day. Today the kids were appointed Mommy for the day and will choose how we spend the day, all of our activities, and even our meals. What a fun way to end the summer together.
The switch from lazy summer days with no set schedule to the hussel and bussel of getting out the door and of to school is a challenge for a lot of families. To make getting out the door for school easier we have a little system using closest organizers that takes the guess work out of getting dressed for school.
