Mother’s day is just around the corner, and here is a super simple gift that your kids can make and give themselves!  A personalized photo gift can get pricey fast, but here is a simple DIY photo bookmark project that is cute but frugal!  The supplies couldn’t be simpler and you most likely have most of these things in your home!  Any mother or Grandmother that loves to read would love a pretty little bookmark adorned with their favorite kiddos faces.  Every time they open their book, or mark their spot, they have your smiling faces looking back at them!  A fun gift that is easy to make and costs very little, but that keeps the smiles coming for that special Mom or Grandma in your life!

DIY Infinity Scarf From A T-shirt – What I Wore Wednesday

Happy Wednesday to you!  Today’s What I Wore Wednesday post has a little extra special tutorial!  T-shirt transformations are all the rage and I love everything about the idea of  re purposing unworn shirts.  Here is a great way to turn a plain old t-shirt into one of those amazingly adorable  looped around infinity scarves in just minutes.  All you need is a t-shirt, a pair of scissors, and about 5 minutes!  These scarves look like a million bucks, but can cost you little to nothing to make on your own!  I was able to create a cool scarf with a shirt I had in my closet for free, and add it to one of this weeks outfits.  Check out how I made this simple jersey infinity scarf, and a few outfit ideas too.

Reindeer Wrap And An Easy Christmas Gift For Teachers

Simple dollar store mugs adorned with the kids sweet handwriting and pictures is the perfect gift for those teachers who love and nurture their curiosity throughout the year.  A simple, but useful gift that the kids can help personalize with the handwriting that those teachers helped form.  We wrapped our mugs in brown paper lunch sacks transformed into cute reindeer with a few simple supplies that thank their teachers for helping to make their futures bright.  These gifts are inexpensive and easy to make, but are full of heart because they are made by the kids for their teachers.
