Sew Simple Matching Jersey Dresses For A Little Girl And Her Doll

A great garage sale find, and a clearanced yard of fun jersey fabric inspired this super easy sewing project.  When my little lady scored a Cabbage patch Doll for $ 0.75 at a garage sale that needed some clothes, I decided to make not only one for her new dolly, but one for her that matched!  She loves that she can match her new baby, and they couldn’t be a cuter pair.

Outdoor Mason Jar Lanterns

I love mason jars for decorating inside and outside of the house, and I simply cannot get enough of the pretty blue jars lit up at night with candles in the summer time.  I have been experimenting with different ways to turn my blue Ball jars into outdoor lanterns, and think I have finally found the easiest way to do so.  Thanks to timed tea lights my lanterns are now very low maintenance.

Outdoor Horse And Saddle Swing

An idea to hang a horse saddle in a tree as a swing turned into a family affair.  A little help from each member in the family has resulted in a saddle swing complete with a horse painted like our favorite spotted pony.  We now have a swing that is fun for kids and adults alike.  You seriously can’t help but smile while riding on it!
