Spooky Halloween Breakfast – How To Make A Monster Breakfast Treat

It is Halloween week on A Spotted Pony.  All this week I will be sharing some fun and easy Halloween foods, costumes, and activities with you to celebrate with your family.  Today I will show you a quick monster breakfast that your kids will love.

What kid wouldn’t love these little googly eyes on their plate in the morning?  Doughnuts alone are a very special treat in our house, but make them into a monster, and you have a fun way to start the day .  All you will need is:

  1. Halloween Plates
  2. Golden Grahams Cereal
  3. White powdered sugar doughnut holes
  4. Chocolate chips
  5. Chocolate Cheerios

All you need to do is spread some Golden Grahams onto a fun colored plate to make the monsters head.  The Dollar Store always has cute holiday plates.  One package usually lasts us a whole Halloween to use for fun meals.

Next take two powdered sugar doughnut holes and cut a little X in them with a knife.  Gently push a chocolate chip into each to create some googly eyes.  Place the eyes onto the pile of cereal.  Add a row of chocolate cheerios for a mouth, and you have yourself a not so scary Halloween breakfast!  Enjoy with your own little monsters!
