Here is a fun activity to do with the kids that leaves you with some adorable gingerbread ornaments to use as decorations. I love having fresh flowers in our home. I wish I could always have a beautiful arrangement in the center of the table and one for the sofa table as well but they are just to expensive. This time of the year it is especially nice to have a special arrangement for those family dinners. This year, with about $13.00 dollars worth of grocery store cut flowers I was able to make just what I was hoping for on a major budget.
Decorating for the holidays is fun no matter what your age. In our house we have a great mixture of unique vintage finds mixed with inexpensive Christmas decor and a little fun for the kids as well as some equestrian touches. When we decorate for the holidays it’s all about what makes us each happy. It doesn’t have to cost a lot to be beautiful and full of meaning.
