I had a small obsession with flannel last winter and was super excited to bust out the tote full of winter and fall clothes. The flannel and flip flops will probably only last a few weeks, but I am loving it! This week I was able to put together three ultra comfortable outfits that worked great for this mom on the go as an alternative to the old sweatshirts and yoga pants.
I am so relieved that the fall like weather has arrived here in Wisconsin. I have got the sweatshirts, boots, flannel shirts, and leggins out of the closet and am excited to add a bunch of my clothes back into the wardrobe. Here’s hoping that I can keep up with the whole idea of getting out of my pajamas to run the kids to school when I could easily just throw on a sweatshirt and go.
This week was packed full of making memories with the kids before school started back up. I took a bit of a hiatus from blogging to spend the last week swooning over my babies. I only have two outfits this week but they are both great looks on a budget. Two entire outfits put together for under $16.00 each – who says a mom on a budget can’t look decent?
I am loving the perfect summer weather right now and taking advantage of my summer wardrobe before the cool fall air sweeps in. This week I was able to come up with three great outfits all under $30.00! I’m most excited to share with you a formal outfit that I wore to a wedding that ran me less than $23 bucks and some easy peasy summer hairstyle too.
From comfy sweatshirts, hats and cowboy boots to heels blouses and earrings I am certainly getting used to taking a little extra time to put myself together before I head out the door. This weeks outfits couldn’t be on much different ends of the spectrum, but it’s all about what woks for you and your life, right?
I have been doing what I wore Wednesday posts once a week for a full month now and I am surprised at how much a little effort has changed how I feel each day! I am really starting to enjoy the things that I already have in my closet. Instead of grabbing the same old t-shirt and yoga pants I’m utilizing the things that I already have in a much better way.
Week three of What I wore Wednesday includes one dressy and colorful summer outfit that cost me only $10 and another Pinterest inspired outfit too! Because I don’t need a lot of dress up clothes , it is hard to spend a lot of money on the items that I wear only for special occasions, but $10.00 – I can handle!
