My blog is a year old today! To celebrate, I want to share the story of how I named A Spotted Pony. I would like to thank each and every one of you who have stopped by over the last year and for your kind comments, your support and following. Can a single spotted horse change your life? The answer in an unequivocal, absolutely YES in my book!
A child’s birthday party is a great time to celebrate and to give them something special. Many parents get overwhelmed by the toys that their kids acquire in their homes, and that is what prompted this gift. My favorite gift to give is a craft basket filled with supplies – complete with crafty ideas.
I have been doing what I wore Wednesday posts once a week for a full month now and I am surprised at how much a little effort has changed how I feel each day! I am really starting to enjoy the things that I already have in my closet. Instead of grabbing the same old t-shirt and yoga pants I’m utilizing the things that I already have in a much better way.
Our garden is in full swing and of all of the wonderful things that we are harvesting I think the flowers have got to be my favorite. I love having fresh flowers in our home, but buying them is never an option. For the few dollars I spent on seeds and bulbs this spring, I am now able to fill our home with colorful flowers that make our home bright and cheerful.
This is a fabulously easy and amazingly delightful treat that I cannot get enough of. By rolling fresh grapes in unprepared jello mix you are left with a healthy summer snack that tastes even better than candy. Ever since I discovered this simple recipe I have had a batch ready in the fridge at all times!
It’s that time of year again, when fresh garden cucumbers are plentiful at our house. I feel like I eat only cucumbers for 3 months straight in the summertime and I love finding new ways to enjoy the super healthy vegetable for meals. These cucumber sandwiches make a great snack, healthy lunch or pretty summertime party hors d’ oeuvre.
Week three of What I wore Wednesday includes one dressy and colorful summer outfit that cost me only $10 and another Pinterest inspired outfit too! Because I don’t need a lot of dress up clothes , it is hard to spend a lot of money on the items that I wear only for special occasions, but $10.00 – I can handle!
