Just recently my sweet little three year old niece had to have her tonsils removed. Any surgery, inpatient or outpatient, is scary for a little one. I wanted to do something to brighten my niece’s day. My kids and I put together a care package and sent it in the mail.
Fall is by far my favorite time of year. The colors are breathtaking, the air is crisp, and although I hate to see summer go, I welcome the warm and cozy feeling that fall brings. It is a time full of family, food, football, and fun in our house.
My kid’s birthday’s are exactly 2 years and 2 days apart. It is so fun to be able to celebrate their special days together and throw a bash in their honor. Each year I let them decide on a theme and then I seriously enjoy the process if making it a day they will never forget.
I’m sure you have seen these adorable appliqued shirts out there. The tie onesie is a design I have made over and over for my son, and for gifts for friends. It is quick easy, and oh so cute!
My kids LOVE to do projects. I bet I get asked at least twice a day if we can get out the craft box. We used a package of dollar store sponges to make a super fun projects like adorable fish puppets, a Sponge Bob, bow-ties, and silly guy puppets that have been lasting fun for them!
Every Friday is Pizza Night in our house. We almost always make our own pizza at home. Either I make dough, or sometimes buy it, and the kids help me make it. Sometimes it’s calzones, sometimes pizza muffins, but it’s always yummy, and a fun family event!
These beautiful striped curtains were my inspiration for this project- the moment I saw them I knew they would look lovely in or living room. To buy window treatments like this was way out of my budget, so I used one sheet and some other things I had around the house to get the same look.
It’s no doubt that if you have toddlers in your home, then you have a plethora of cute fuzzy stuffed friends too. Stuffed animals are often some of a child’s favorite toys, but I feel like they are taking over our house.
I spotted some giant floor pillows in the Pottery Barn kids catalog a while back that I thought were so fun. They looked warm and cozy, soft and comfy! Would you believe they were $119.00. No way! So I set out to create my own on a budget. I like them even better than the original ones I spotted in the catalog and the kids use them daily!
Hey Boo Boo, what do you want to be for Halloween? Halloween is around the bend and I could not wait to share these costumes! I feel smarter than the average bear because they turned out so cute! These totally unique home made costumes were fun to make and even more fun for the kids to wear!
