One year has passed and 185 posts later I have fallen in love with writing and creating this little blog. I have been doing what I wore Wednesday posts once a week for a full month now and I am surprised at how much a little effort has changed how I feel each day! I am really starting to enjoy the things that I already have in my closet. Instead of grabbing the same old t-shirt and yoga pants I’m utilizing the things that I already have in a much better way.
Week three of What I wore Wednesday includes one dressy and colorful summer outfit that cost me only $10 and another Pinterest inspired outfit too! Because I don’t need a lot of dress up clothes , it is hard to spend a lot of money on the items that I wear only for special occasions, but $10.00 – I can handle!

Ever have one of those days where you are out and about with the family, you walk past a window and realize your hair is just not right, bad even? I always carry this emergency hair kit in my purse for just such an occasion. It’s small, simple and made from an old spice container. The perfect solution for bad hair days!

Turn those simple sock bun curls into an up do with a fun and finished look for a night out or just a nice, easy style for on the go.
I have gotten a huge response from my post on sock bun curls! It is an easy and beautiful way to style your long hair, especially for busy moms- on the go. I had numerous questions and wanted to give you lady’s a video example of sock bun curls.
