This is one of the quickest and easiest projects. A simple, and adorable cake stand made from a mug and a dinner plate. The perfect way to display your yummy treats, a fun gift, and a simple craft project. Find a plate style that you love and give it a try!
Dinning room tables are one of the most important places in a home. Countless dinners, good laughs, family time, stories, projects, paper work, learning space, and so much more.
An old pallet can give new life to any kind of gear if you use your imagination a little. I found an old pallet leaned up against our barn and made it into an awesome storage solution for the horse gear that we use often out in the barn.
My son’s room is decorated in a transportation theme. He loves airplanes, tractors, and anything with wheels. Adding a chalkboard wall in any kids room is a great way to keep the kids creativity flowing! The wall adds a great focal point for the room, and is very inexpensive to make. The best part is it provides hours of creative play for the little ones.
It’s that time again … the kids come home from school with their stacks of cute and creative projects in hand. They are so proud of them, and have worked so hard to make them. Give the fridge a little break and try this in-expensive solution to display there hard work!
Baskets and baskets of books….everywhere! Every mother of toddlers knows what I’m talking about. You finish every single night by scooping ALL the books that are covering the living room floor back into their baskets! I found that the kids enjoyed dumping them and then dancing on them more than reading them. These inexpensive bookshelves made from rain gutters are the PERFECT solution!
We had one large blank wall in our living room that needed something special. I came up with a gallery wall that tells the story of our family. It is filled with things we love and our very favorite pictures! A great focal point and the first thing that you notice when you walk into our house.
What could be more fun than an outdoor movie night? A DRIVE-IN!! I created these fun little cars out of cardboard boxes so the kids had a comfy place to enjoy their movie!
This summer we had a family camping weekend at our house! With 4 kids under four camping I really wanted some fun activities to keep them busy! We created an outdoor movie theater and a car for each child to sit in and enjoy the movie under the stars!
So last Christmas we decided to get my son a train table…..then we decided to start our daughter on the critter castle collection, after we saw how much she loved them at a friends place.
