Homemade Chex Mix Made Fun and Festive With Goldfish and Candy Pumpkins

Is there anyone alive that doesn’t LOVE a fresh warm batch of homemade Chex mix? It is a special treat in our house that makes everyone happy. We love to add goldfish pretzels for fun surprise and candy pumpkins to make it a Thanksgiving treat that your family will love! For special occasions you can always smell the aroma of fresh baked homemade Chex mix in our house. The kids love it and so do my husband and I. Kid’s Turkey Craft – Make And Send I’m Thankful For You Cards

The kids are getting excited for Thanksgiving . Nothing is more important than the people in our lives who we are blessed with. What better way for your kids to show those people that they are thankful for them than by making and sending these cute little turkeys. Who doesn’t love to get a special envelope through good old fashion snail mail? Not a bill, not a reminder, just a nice little “I’m Thinking of you, and love you” card. The last couple of weeks the kids and I have been having a lot of conversations about what is really important, and the things that we...

It seems as though each creative blog I have seen has it’s own version. I had one of these clocks at home, so I decided to give it a go. I loved how it turned out so much that I have made 3 other ones to put throughout our home. They are a great way to add natural colors and textures into...

Corduroy Coat Repurposed Into A Fall Vest And A Dog Jacket

I took an old corduroy coat that I wasn’t wearing anymore an re purposed it into a fun fall vest that I love. Here is the exciting part….I used one of the sleeves to make a little doggie jacket! One old corduroy coat equals a fashionable fall vest t for you, and a cute little doggie coat for your best furry friend! I turned this: … into this: … and this: I have had this jacket since I was in high school. Sigh … that feels like ages ago! I loved the army green corduroy and wool lining, but the coat was boxy and not very stylish by today’s standards....

Updated Gallery Wall For A Large Room – Add Color For A Whole New Look

When I first started my blog I shared with you my large gallery wall that was made on a major budget. I recently made a few simple changes for fall that completely change the room. By replacing all of the black and white photos with colorful fall family photos, the wall has a whole new feel. This wall needed to be large scale and kind of dramatic without us spending a lot of money. I used frames that I already had and painted them all to match. I also painted mattes with a blue paint to add some color. Everything on this wall was re purposed with exception to the canvas print. I was...
