Whooo’s Been Good? – Fun Kid’s Reward System

I think every mother wants to positively reinforce their children’s good behavior.  If you are like me, when you see bad behavior it is something you automatically “hone in on” – to correct it instantly.  Positive behaviors, on the other hand, often don’t get the same amount of attention.  We expect  our children to do certain things and act a certain way, and that is our job as parents to teach them.  Here is a great way to make a big deal out of good, positive behaviors and kind actions that your children choose to do on their own!  “Whooo’s been good” is a little surprise jar that we have in our house for when I catch the kids doing something unexpected and totally awesome!

What I Wore Wednesday – Thrifty Is Nifty

In an effort to redeem myself from last week, I worked very hard to come up with four outfits instead of my usual three.  I also wanted to do my best to make them super thrifty too.  With the combination of clearance and sale price items along with thrifted and garage sale finds,  I was able to do just that.  Getting dressed is more fun with great budget friendly finds that you love.    A striped scarf, fun plaid shirts, a refashioned vest and  a great pair of boots for less than a dollar.  Here are four cool weather friendly looks that any mom can achieve on a major budget.

What I Wore Wednesday – Flip Flops And Flannel

I had a small obsession with flannel last winter and was super excited to bust out the tote full of winter and fall clothes.  The flannel and flip flops will probably only last a few weeks, but I am loving it!  This week I was able to put together three ultra comfortable outfits that worked great for this mom on the go as an alternative to the old sweatshirts and yoga pants.

Family Fun – Fall To Do List

I simply love everything about the fall season.  It is my favorite time of the year by far and I really relish all of the fun family activities that we do together during the season.  Each year I put together a list of activities that we plan to do over the fall months together as a way to get excited about all things fall, family, and fun.  It is time for pumpkins, sweaters, hot cider, and bonfires and I couldn’t be more excited!
